Location and dates
The conference will take place at the SANLAM Training Centre Corporate Office, 2 Strand Rd in Bellville, Cape Town and is scheduled from Sunday, 23rd July to Friday, 28th July 2017, with a Teacher Day on 29 July. Invited are experts in the field as well as young researchers interested in research on the teaching of applications and modelling in all areas of mathematics education – primary through secondary schools, as well as colleges and universities, and the world of work.

Aim of the conference
To provide a forum for the presentation of research and exchange of information, experiences, and ideas relating to the teaching, learning and assessment of mathematical modelling, mathematical models and applications of mathematics at primary, secondary and tertiary level as well as in the world of work.
